  i must admit i have a short attention span.

  since i heard about this big news a few days ago i've been excited and anxious to hear what it is.

  today, however, i started to lose interest.

  Overwhelming news usually starts as a whisper and grows to a pounding siren.
  
  Look at politics....it's the tiniest, of littlest things that end up bringing down Presidents, Senators, and the like. It's usually the cover up that brings them down, not the crime itself. So maybe a little cover you ass CYA scandel would be nice.

  Gregor that may be true of the Borganization........BUT.......we actually CARE about the people. Those are the people that get hurt. Who gives a rats ass about the WTBS as an incorporated entitiy or the governing body.....worrying about the rank and file.....shows we are better than the WTBS. Two wrongs do not make a right.

  Hillbilly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. From what I understand they have hired Michael Moore the film maker to help them document this story. Maybe he'll "interview" the governing body on the streets of New York City, like he has done with some politicians and biz people.
  
  So if anything it'll correspond to Hollywood time. I'm thinking 10 am west coast time....so do the math. Also, the news will be released on Friday afternoon New York time so that we Ex-JW's will have all weekend to work our "magic" before they can come up with any kind of defense against what we say. That gives us a 3 or 4 day head start.

  Undercover....agreed. Sounds like the news is like a fart in church. Yeah, it'll smell but quickly goes away. We are being baited to "hype" this thing up. Somehow by our own will make it newsworthy. But I suppose adding another turd into the punch bowl makes it more difficult for the WTBS to strain out the Kool Aid in the punch bowl.

  I guess when I left, I had a few years to come to grips with my decision. Some here who get DF'd and tossed out on their ear...have to do their "mental homework" after they are gone.
  
  I think after about 2 or 3 years of being inactive I quit caring about EVERYTHING JW related. When my mom now tells me about "so and so has gotten divorced, so and so has been appointed elder, so and so has had a child" I struggle even to remember who these folks are. I've also simply told my mother, "Mom, I really don't care one way or the other, so please don't bother to tell me." But it is the axis of her life.....so I try to be patient.
  
  So maybe the answer is 3 or 4 years. For some I fear, they will never allow themselves to "get over it" and will simply continue to embrace the warm blanket of pain and suffering, much as they did as JW's. It is their cross to bear.
